Privacy policy

This site is built to keep no data about its readers.

  • No analytics, advertising trackers, social widgets, fingerprinting or third-party fonts. Every page loads only from this domain; the contact form adds one bot check, described below, and only when you use it.
  • The site itself sets no cookies for visitors. Light or dark mode follows your device; if you switch it by hand, the choice lasts only for that browser tab and never leaves your browser.
  • Our network provider, Cloudflare, sets one strictly necessary security cookie, __cf_bm, to tell people apart from harmful bots. It expires after 30 minutes and is not used for tracking or advertising.
  • Comments are switched off and there are no reader accounts. The site keeps no personal data about its readers.
  • Our hosting and network providers keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure and running.

The contact form

  • The form asks only for a title and a message. It has no field for your name or your email.
  • When you send it, the title and the message are published as an issue in the project's public GitHub repository, so suggestions stay attached to the history of the text. Nothing is kept on this site once the issue exists. Please do not include anything you want to keep private.
  • If GitHub cannot be reached, the message waits on this site until it can be published by hand, and is deleted after 30 days at the latest.
  • To keep out spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which loads only when you start using the form and checks the browser without advertising cookies. This site does not pass your IP address on to it. To limit repeated sending, a one-way hash of your IP address, made with a key that changes every day, is kept for at most a day.

What remains, and the GDPR

On this site, nothing that identifies a reader. The only traces are the anonymous counters against repeated sending, which expire within a day. The daily backups of the site are kept for up to five weeks and hold nothing more than the site itself.

Elsewhere, what you publish through the form is public on GitHub and falls under GitHub's own privacy statement, and Cloudflare and the host keep their short-lived technical logs under their own policies.

The site follows the GDPR by design: it collects nothing it does not need, keeps nothing longer than needed, and shares nothing for tracking or advertising. Because it holds no personal data about you, there is nothing here to request, export or delete. Your rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to a data protection authority, remain fully yours.

Who runs this site

This site is run by human terran, the architect.
